HPM Building Supply in Kamuela, Hawaii is hiring a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to ensure customers get the materials they need. The Lumberyard Specialist is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us.

We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone ready to be the hero they need! You will work in our outdoor warehouse, assist customers with orders, and help maintain a safe, efficient yard.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is desired.
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is highly preferred
• Ability to work in outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Respond first to customer orders and inquiries
• Set the tone for the customer experience at checkout
• Help customers select materials and assist with orders
