Job summary

HPM Building Supply in Kamuela, Hawaii is hiring a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to ensure our customers receive the materials they need. The role is the first to respond to orders and sets the tone for the customer experience in our outdoor warehouse.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of building materials, basic computer skills, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, and prior cash-handling or customer service experience. Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and checkout.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Prior customer service and cash-handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in an outdoor warehouse in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with/without accommodations.

Responsibilities

Job description

expected pay range for a Lumberyard Specialist in Kamuela is $20.35 to $24.35 per hour.

HPM Building Supply in Kamuela, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to save the day by ensuring our customers get the materials they need. The Lumberyard Specialist is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us. We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone ready to be the hero they need!

Currently this location is open Monday-Friday from 6:00 am and 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 4 pm and the schedule will include Saturdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is desired
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is highly preferred
• Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
