Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in Huntsville, TX is seeking a Part-time Yard Crewmember to assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, loading/unloading, answering questions, performing safety checks on equipment, maintaining yard cleanliness, and helping with loading tickets and weather protection of materials. This is a part-time role with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training; levels 1 and 2 of training offered.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the yard.
• Load and unload products safely and accurately.
• Answer customer questions regarding products.
• Inform management of customer complaints or requests.
• Move, stock, and rearrange building materials in yard/warehouse.
• Perform routine safety checks on forklifts as per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of yard and warehouses.
