Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in San Angelo, TX is seeking a Yard Crewmember to assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.

You will load and unload, respond to questions, move materials, perform forklift safety checks, and help maintain a clean yard and warehouse. A high school diploma is preferred and forklift certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• On-the-job training completion; levels 1 and 2 of positional training offered.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the yard.
• Load and unload products into customers, vendors, and company vehicles safely and accurately.
• Respond to customer questions regarding products.
• Inform management of customer complaints or requests promptly.
• Move, stock, and rearrange building materials in the yard, warehouse, and store interior.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks per company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of lumberyard and warehouses.
