Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is hiring a Yard Crewmember in Austin, TX. You will assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.

Key duties include greeting customers, loading/unloading, handling materials, and maintaining a safe, clean yard with proper ticket checks. Forklift certification is required; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• On-the-job training; levels 1 and 2 positional training completed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the yard and assist with loading and unloading.
• Operation of forklift and safe handling of materials.
• Respond to customer questions about products and help locate items.
• Maintain yard and warehouse cleanliness and organize stock.
• Verify tickets match merchandise and secure exposed materials.
• Attend store meetings and training; perform other duties as assigned.
