Job summary

McCoy’s is seeking a part-time Distribution Yard Crewmember in Dayton, TX to assist with receiving, stocking, pulling, loading, and moving materials in the yard and warehouse. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with duties including loading/unloading, stock organization, safety checks on forklifts, and inventory maintenance.

The role requires the ability to follow directions, work well in a team, and meet fluctuating business needs, including overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training completion required.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads products safely and accurately.
• Moves, stocks, and rearranges building materials in the yard and warehouse.
• Performs safety checks on forklifts per company guidelines.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in lumberyard and warehouses.
• Ensures proper loading to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Maintains inventory in assigned area per company standards.
• Covers exposed materials to prevent weather damage.
• Cuts lumber and related materials as requested by customer.
• Operates a forklift.
• Attends store meetings and training sessions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
