Job summary

You will perform duties such as loading/unloading products, maintaining inventory, and adhering to loading patterns to protect materials during transit. Training is provided and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Knowledge of weight distribution and safe lifting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and unloads products safely and accurately.
• Moves, stocks, and rearranges building materials in yard/warehouse.
• Performs routine safety checks on forklifts.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of lumberyard and warehouses.
• Ensures proper loading to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintains inventory in assigned area and stocks accordingly.
• Covers exposed materials to prevent weather damage.
• Cuts lumber and related materials as requested by customers.
• Operates a forklift and attends meetings and trainings.
