Job summary

Dakota Premium Hardwoods, LLC in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a dependable Warehouse team member focused on customer service, accuracy, and safety. Responsibilities include assisting in order picking, loading/unloading 18-wheeler and flatbed, and operating a propane forklift in a non-climate controlled yard.

This day shift, Monday–Friday with some Saturdays offers weekly pay; overtime and bonus opportunities are available; benefits eligible after 30 days include PTO, health, vision, long-term

Qualifications

• Experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment.
• Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse.
• Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down).

Responsibilities

• Load/unload lumber and materials for shipments.
• Assist in picking orders within the yard/warehouse.
• Operate a propane forklift to move loads safely.
• Maintain organization and safety in a non-climate controlled warehouse.
