Job summary

Dakota Premium Hardwoods, LLC is seeking a dependable, hard-working Warehouse associate for our Punta Gorda lumber yard. The successful candidate will be customer-service oriented, friendly with coworkers, and bring a solid work ethic and team-first attitude.

The role involves loading and unloading trucks, lifting up to 75 pounds, and operating a propane 6k lb+ sit-down forklift in a non-climate controlled warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardwood lumber and plywood distribution preferred.
• Experience in order picking in warehouse.
• Able to load and unload trucks.
• Capable of lifting 75 pounds and working in a non-climate controlled space.
• Forklift experience with propane 6k lb+ sit-down forklift.

Job description

Cabinet Hardware/Supplies and Laminate. Our Punta Gorda lumber yard is seeking a dependable, hard-working, customer service-oriented team player for its Warehouse position. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition toward customers and coworkers, solid work ethic, team first and can-do attitude are essential.

Experience, Skills, And Abilities Include

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
• Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment
• Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
• Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down)

Salary commensurate with experience

Overtime and bonus opportunities available

Day shift, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays

Must be able to work overtime when needed

Weekly pay - hourly position
