Job summary

Dakota Premium Hardwoods, LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate for our Southeast Austin lumber yard. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, operating a propane forklift, and performing order picking in a non-climate controlled warehouse.

This is an hourly, day-shift position with weekly pay, overtime, and bonus opportunities. Benefits begin after 30 days, including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber distribution preferred
• Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment
• Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
• Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down)

Dakota Premium Hardwoods is a leading supplier of Hardwood Lumber, Plywood, Moulding, Cabinet Hardware/Supplies and Laminate. Our Southeast Austin lumber yard is seeking a dependable, hard-working, customer service-oriented team player for its Warehouse position. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition toward customers and coworkers, solid work ethic, team first and can-do attitude are essential.

Experience, Skills, And Abilities Include

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
• Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment
• Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse

Salary commensurate with experience

Overtime and bonus opportunities available

Day shift, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays

Must be able to work overtime when needed
