Job summary

Dakota Premium Hardwoods, LLC in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a dependable warehouse team member. This day-shift, hourly position requires teamwork, a customer-friendly attitude, and ability to lift 75 pounds. Overtime and some Saturdays are expected; weekly pay and benefits start after 30 days.

The role involves picking orders, loading/unloading trucks, and operating a propane forklift in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment.
• Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse.
• Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload 18-wheeler and flatbed trucks.
• Pick orders in lumber yard/warehouse environment.
• Lift up to 75 pounds in a non-climate controlled warehouse.
• Operate propane forklift (6k lb+) sit-down.
• Work as part of a team and deliver friendly customer service.

Cabinet Hardware/Supplies and Laminate. Our Punta Gorda lumber yard is seeking a dependable, hard-working, customer service-oriented team player for its Warehouse position. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition toward customers and coworkers, solid work ethic, team first and can-do attitude are essential.

Experience, skills, and abilities include:

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
