Arnold Lumber Co Inc is seeking a Receiver at our West Kingston, RI location. The role focuses on accurate intake of materials, inventory control, and maintaining a safe, organized receiving area.

Collaboration with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams is essential to ensure timely stock and order fulfillment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (forklift certification a plus) and experience in a lumber yard or warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; forklift certification advantageous.
• Experience in a lumber yard/warehouse preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork necessary to coordinate with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of lumber and related materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Complete packing slips, invoices, and quality assurance reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers for returns or replacements when needed.
• Keep receiving area clean, organized, and safe; operate forklifts as required.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure timely processing.
