Arnold Lumber Company is hiring a Material Handler in West Kingston, RI. You will support operations by picking, staging lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient yard and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification, and experience operating machinery and knowledge of building materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in a polite, professional manner in the yard and warehouse.
• Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate handling, stacking, and storage of materials to maintain product integrity and minimize damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including housekeeping, facility upkeep, and signage per company standards.
• Support inventory and transfers by accurately pulling and staging products, processing paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols, including forklift inspections and maintaining certifications per OSHA and company safety regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Support inventory and transfers by accurately pulling and staging products, processing paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols, including completing forklift inspections, maintaining required certifications, and adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations.
