Job summary

Northwest Hardwoods, Inc. is seeking a Production Scheduler to translate orders into efficient schedules, coordinate with the lumber yard team, and ensure on-time production and distribution. You will guide daily workflows, maintain safety standards, and keep operations aligned with customer needs globally.

Ideal candidates bring leadership, strong communication, and hands-on collaboration to keep lumber yard operations moving smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Basic Excel knowledge (data input).
• Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency.
• Available Mon–Fri 7am–3:30pm with overtime flexibility.
• Lumber Yard/Sawmill experience.
• Experience with Lumber Track preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review incoming sales orders from logistics.
• Track each job's lifecycle from entry through staging and shipment.
• Re-sequence schedules to handle rushes or downtime.
• Monitor raw material stock to ensure supply before production.
• Assist with routine inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Update ERP system in real-time to reflect completed work.
• Deliver daily production schedules and job specs to floor team.
• Provide clear sequencing instructions to the floor crew.
• Work on production floor approximately 10% of time.
