You will hire, train, and supervise staff, assist customers with material selection and loading, oversee dispatching and scheduling, maintain yard inventory, ensure safety, and manage equipment maintenance. This full-time role offers growth within a longstanding, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in customer service
• Dispatch experience desirable
• Ability to train and direct others effectively
• Familiarity with building materials
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage employees, hire, communicate, and discipline as needed
• Assist customers with material selection and loading
• Pull and stage materials for pickup and delivery
• Coordinate shipping and scheduling of orders
• Maintain yard inventory with cycle counts
• Enforce yard policies and safety
• Schedule vehicle maintenance and keep equipment serviced
