Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC is seeking a part-time Lumber Yard Associate for Marvin's Monroeville location. The role involves heavy customer service, stock handling, forklift operation, and assisting with deliveries to homeowners and job sites.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, building loads, maintaining yard safety, and supporting counter staff. A forklift certification and basic math/communication skills are required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading merchandise.
• Experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs and climb ladders.
• Basic math, reading, writing and speaking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and contractors in a friendly manner at the yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles or delivery trucks according to records.
• Prepare loads for delivery and ensure correct items and quantities.
• Identify shortages and report to store management.
• Maintain yard and warehouse in clean, orderly condition.
• Assist cashiers or staff with customers at the register as needed.
• Support contractor sales counter functions when required.
