Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC is hiring a Marvin's Talladega yard associate for the on-site, part-time role. You will help customers, move merchandise with a forklift, and support drivers delivering to homes and job sites.

The role requires customer service ability, basic math, and safety awareness. Previous forklift operation experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. This position emphasizes safety and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and prior delivery experience required or strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to deal with the public.
• Basic math skills for measuring, counting and invoicing.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors entering the yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard/warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers with delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites.
• Load materials into customers’ vehicles or company delivery trucks based on POS records.
• Develop familiarity with equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks and warehouse lifts.
• Unload incoming freight carefully to protect goods and equipment.
• Prepare loads and materials for delivery and ensure accuracy against records.
• Identify shortages and report back to store management.
• Maintain clean and orderly yard and warehouse areas.
• Assist cashiers and store staff with customer needs at the register or counter.
• Support contractor sales counter functions as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in regular safety meetings.
