Carter Lumber, a family‑owned company with deep roots in Ohio, is seeking energetic teammates for yard duties in Columbus. You will assist contractors and do‑it‑yourself customers, load and stage materials, pull orders for pickup or delivery, and help keep the yard organized.

This is a hands‑on, outdoors role that rewards teamwork and reliability. Training is provided, including forklift operation and certification support. Carter Lumber values honesty, hard work, and promoting from within.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Friendly personality is essential.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Ability to be a team player and work outdoors in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of their orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery; help maintain yard organization and inventory.
