Carter Lumber is hiring yard staff to assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with order selection, loading, and staging. You will pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery and help maintain yard inventory while keeping the area organized and safe. Forklift operation training is provided if needed.

Formación

• Customer service experience required.
• Friendly personality necessary for teamwork.
• Familiarity with building materials helpful but not required.
• Ability to be a team player and contribute in a fast-paced yard environment.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain inventory in the yard with cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean; operate a forklift after training.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
