Carter Lumber Company is seeking team-oriented individuals to join our yard staff in Muncie, Indiana. You will assist contractors and DIY customers with selection and loading, and help stage materials for pickup or delivery.

You will also maintain yard inventory through cycle counts and keep the yard clean and organized. Training on forklift operation and certification is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Friendly personality and approachable demeanor.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Ability to be a team player and collaborate with coworkers.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Description:
You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
