Marvin's Summerville is seeking a part-time Lumber Yard Associate to provide friendly customer service, load and unload merchandise, and assist with deliveries at the on-site yard in Sumerville, GA. The role requires forklift operation, basic math, and safety-minded duties in a fast-paced lumber yard.

The position is hourly and part-time, with responsibilities including stocking, assisting customers, and helping cashiers as needed. Experience with lumber/building materials is helpful.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or preferred.
• Some delivery experience.
• Experience dealing with the public.
• Basic math skills; reading, writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in yard/warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard/warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homes or job sites.
• Load materials into customers’ vehicles or company delivery vehicles.
• Ensure yard and warehouse are clean and orderly.
• Identify shortages and report to store management.
