Job summary

Hood Industries, Inc. is hiring entry-level production associates for our lumber mill in Silver Creek, MS. You will be responsible for cleaning designated production areas, supporting safe and efficient machine operation, and performing loading/unloading tasks as part of a motivated team.

You must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $17.17 per hour and a robust benefits package upon full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Help keep production areas clean and safe.
• Cross-train on production equipment.
• Load/unload materials from machines.
• Monitor machines to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform clean-up activities around the mill.
• Use hand tools for daily cleanup tasks.
