Job summary

Lampe & Malphrus Lumber is seeking a Production Machine Operator to support lumber manufacturing by safely operating production equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork to sustain production flow in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, experience in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently in a lumber manufacturing setting.
• Inspect equipment before operation to confirm proper setup and alignment.
• Monitor products for quality and ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain workflow and communicate issues to the team.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance within training scope.
• Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout when applicable.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
