Job summary

Northwest Hardwoods is seeking a Green Chain Puller to help move lumber through the production facility. You will assist in loading, sorting, stacking, and organizing lumber, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This role supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contributes to delivering high-quality lumber to customers worldwide.

The position emphasizes safety, physical activity, and reliability, with opportunities for rotation and teamwork on a diverse plant team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Available to work Monday–Friday with occasional weekends.
• Experience in lumber manufacturing is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload lumber trucks.
• Sort product by size, species, and grade.
• Stack wood neatly into carts or storage bays.
• Keep the warehouse and conveyors clean and clear of debris.
• Participate in job rotations and cross-training.
