Job summary

Northwest Hardwoods in West Virginia is seeking a Green Chain Puller to keep lumber moving through the facility, ensuring safe handling and organization.

You'll load and unload lumber trucks, sort by size, species and grade, stack lumber neatly, and help maintain a clean, efficient warehouse environment while participating in job rotations. This fast-paced role suits someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys hands-on, physically active work and following strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Available to work Monday - Friday with occasional weekends.
• Preferred: experience in lumber manufacturing or lumber material handling.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload lumber trucks.
• Sort product by size, species, and grade.
• Stack wood neatly into carts or storage bays.
• Keep the warehouse and conveyors clean and clear of debris.
• Participate in job rotations and cross-training.
