Qualifications

• MUST be committed to safety and have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to work without direct supervision.
• Able to perform basic math and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift: Monday–Friday 4:30–4:30, alternating day/night, some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean, calibrate, align and perform minor maintenance on Lucidyne and other value-related equipment in the Planer Mill.
• Maintain safe work environment and culture.
• Ensure high-value product specifications are met and manage lumber quality on the Dry Side (Planer Mill).
• Learn to grade 2" dimensional lumber and pass SPIB certification process.
• Monitor auto grading system and verify quality; adjust or troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Operate equipment and perform other duties as required.
• Maintain a clean workstation and exhibit good safety and attendance records.
