Job summary

The Pallet Company is seeking a Lumber Forklift Driver for a daytime full-time role with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM schedule (M-F) and overtime opportunities. You will operate a forklift and sometimes a skid steer to move lumber and pallets to the production line, load/unload trucks, and keep docks clean.

Experience in lumber and forklift use in the last 18 months is required, with a high school diploma or GED. Starting wage is $19+ per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year full-time forklift experience
• Experience with lumber and forklift within last 18 months
• Forklift certification is helpful
• Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move and deliver lumber and pallets to the production line
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain clean docks and warehouse aisles; stack material safely
• Support production in a fast-paced environment
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or defective material issues
