Job summary

48forty Solutions in Savannah, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload pallets, move materials around the plant, and help keep manufacturing production moving safely and efficiently. The role offers an hourly pay of $20.00 and a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Responsibilities include unloading pallets, relocating wood, stacking products into trailers, and maintaining a safe work environment. Prior forklift experience and the ability to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous warehouse/logistics experience is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and wood to their designated locations inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas at a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with other plant personnel in mind.
