Job summary

Signature Retail Services, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Associate for a full-time, 1st shift position. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, inspecting lumber shipments, and ensuring safe handling of materials in both the warehouse and yard.

The position requires 5+ years forklift experience (or willingness to certify), valid license and insurance, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience operating a forklift and order picker, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Comfortable in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Able to lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Dependable attendance for 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload and receive inbound shipments using forklift or manual methods.
• Inspect lumber shipments to meet quality standards and document findings.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and quality inspection reports.
• Paletize, stage, and manage inventory using forklift or cherry picker.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and management to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform minor repairs on packaging to maintain quality.
