Job summary

48forty Solutions in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload pallets and move materials to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently.

This hourly position offers a starting rate of $19.00 per hour with Monday–Friday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; overtime possible.

You should have 1–3 years forklift experience; warehouse or lumber industry exposure is preferred. We provide competitive pay, time off, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
