Job summary

Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill is seeking a friendly Luggage Porter to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage during arrival and departure, and help ensure a memorable stay.

With flexi hours, you control your schedule; full training is provided, and you’ll coordinate with the Front Office to arrange transportation, guide guests to facilities, and maintain a clean, welcoming entrance day after day.

• Friendly, professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Previous guest-facing hospitality experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional first impression of the hotel.
• Assist guests with their luggage during arrival, departure, and throughout their stay.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Arrange transportation and assist guests with taxi bookings when required.
• Support guests with parking arrangements and directions.
• Ensure the hotel entrance, driveway, and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Open doors and provide assistance to guests entering and leaving the hotel.
• Work closely with the Front Office team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Luggage Porter- Flexi Hours role

About you

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Luggage Porter. Previous experience in a guest-facing hospitality role is advantageous, although full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment fordelivering exceptional guest service. A good knowledge of the local area and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, would be beneficial.
