Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking an Operating Engineer to lubricate and maintain a range of mechanical equipment aboard ships in Pascagoula, MS. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with shipyard or industrial background preferred.

Position is full-time and on-site with no relocation assistance. US citizenship required. Telework is not available. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; shipyard or industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate moving parts of pumps, shafting, engines, gears and related equipment.
• Maintain oil and grease levels and grease moving parts.
• Support general maintenance tasks as needed on shipyard equipment.
