Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth in Beaver, UT is seeking a Lube Truck Driver (Heavy Civil Construction) to perform routine maintenance, operate heavy equipment, and support repairs on site. The role requires at least 1 year of experience with heavy construction machinery and diesel/hydraulic/electrical systems, plus a valid CDL.

You will drive the Lube Truck and company pickup for parts, maintain logs, and contribute to safety and efficiency improvements while exploring new maintenance techniques.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; related training acceptable.
• Minimum 1 year on heavy construction equipment and vehicles.
• Experience with diesel fuel, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Minimum 1 year of field repair experience.
• Valid CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles on time.
• Operate construction equipment to repair as needed.
• Weld items not requiring certification and assist with repairs.
• Clean equipment during repair processes.
• Maintain daily logs in a timely, organized manner.
• May drive Lube Truck or pickup to parts as needed.
• Assist with tool and equipment maintenance and knowledge of new tech.

Position Description

• Perform routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles as needed and on time.
• Operate construction equipment and vehicles in order to repair.
• Perform miscellaneous welding to repair items not requiring a certified welder.
• Clean equipment and vehicles in the process of making repairs.
• Maintain daily logs in a legitimate, timely and organized fashion.
• May drive Lube Truck to fuel and service equipment in personnel absences.
• May drive company pickup truck to get parts.
• Assist with small tool and equipment maintenance, repair as needed.
• Seek knowledge of new technologies/methods used in truck and equipment maintenance.
• Recommend measures to Shop Manager to improve safety, production, equipment performance and repair quality.

Position Requirements

• High school education; or up to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1 years of experience working on heavy construction equipment and vehicles
• A minimum of 1 years of experience working with diesel fuel systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems
• A minimum of 1 years of experience performing field repairs
• Be able to physically lift 50 – 100 LBS
• Be able to regularly stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
• Specific vision abilities are required, which includes to have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Perform mathematical problems
• Valid CDL is required.
