Job summary

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Lube Truck Driver (Heavy Civil Construction) to support field operations in Beaver, UT. You will perform routine maintenance on equipment, operate trucks, and assist with repairs to keep project sites running smoothly.

A valid CDL Class A or B with Hazmat endorsement is required, along with at least one year of heavy equipment experience. We offer competitive hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; may have 1–2 years related experience.
• At least 1 year of experience on heavy construction equipment and vehicles.
• At least 1 year of experience with diesel fuel systems, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.
• At least 1 year of experience performing field repairs.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb and stoop for extended periods.
• Must have vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus.
• Perform mathematical problems.
• Valid CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Operate construction equipment to perform repairs.
• Weld items not requiring a certified welder.
• Aim for zero repeat/redo repairs.
• Clean equipment during repairs.
• Maintain daily logs promptly and accurately.
• May drive Lube Truck to fuel and service equipment.
• May drive pickup to obtain parts.
• Assist with tool and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Seek knowledge of new truck maintenance technologies.
• Suggest safety and efficiency improvements to Shop Manager.
