Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Harrison, AR is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, flushes, and more. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and maintain shop cleanliness.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 annually, paid vacation and holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

Possess valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's.
A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed.
Notes vehicle condition and reports safety concerns with documentation.
Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service area.
Follows safety procedures and reports concerns.
