Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Springdale, AR is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and basic inspections. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean and organized.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, being at least 18, availability for five days including Saturdays, and a basic understanding of automotive mechanics. We offer competitive pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service areas.
