Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Conway, AR, is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, wheel and tire services, and basic shop tasks. The role includes driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on experience, with benefits and opportunities for advancement. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday’s.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Notes vehicle condition and documents it using the Repair Order.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
