Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, and related tasks in a full-service shop. The role includes customer transportation, parts pickup, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, health coverage, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work five days including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and rotation.
• Performs oil changes and basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and safety.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns.
