Job summary

Grease Monkey #41 is seeking a lube technician to service and inspect the underside of vehicles quickly, safely, and accurately. You will ensure proper gaskets, drain plugs, and oil filters are installed and that there are no leaks after service.

Responsibilities include safe operation, tool use, visual inspections, gear box checks, and assisting with additional services as needed, culminating in a final safety check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months actual experience or supervised training as a lube technician required
• Customer service skills and basic literacy are required
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and use mechanical hand tools

Responsibilities

• Work safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform visual inspection of vehicle undercarriage, document unusual conditions
• Obtain correct oil filter, drain oil, inspect oil drain plug and gasket
• Check/fill gear boxes and belts, inspect hoses
• Perform additional services such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials
• Assist with final safety and quality check
