Job summary

Grease Monkey Jonesboro is seeking a motivated lube technician to service and inspect the underside of vehicles quickly and accurately. You will ensure proper gaskets, drain plugs, and oil system components are installed with attention to safety and quality.

The role emphasizes using the Echo System, maintaining clean workspaces, and supporting additional services as needed. Training, safety, and professional growth are core to this position.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and basic literacy (reading, writing, math) with clear verbal communication.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to operate motor vehicles.
• Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools and follow safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail in inspecting and servicing vehicles.
• Minimum 3 months of actual experience or supervised training as a lube technician.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized.
• Use Echo System.
• Perform visual inspection of vehicle undercarriage, document any unusual conditions.
• Obtain correct oil filter, drain oil, inspect drain plug and gasket; replace as needed.
• Check and fill gear boxes.
• Perform additional services such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials when applicable.
• Assist with pressure and leak checks.
• Inspect belts, hoses and other components; assist with pressure and leak checks.
• Lubricate chassis and install tamper seals on plugs.
• Assist with final safety and quality check.
