Job summary

Lithia & Driveway Hyundai of New Port Richey is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance and services per dealership and manufacturer standards. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced shop and contribute to keeping vehicles in top condition.

The role emphasizes basic mechanical tasks, inspecting systems, and communicating recommendations to the service team while delivering excellent customer service. This is a full-time on-site position in Florida.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience as express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

What You’ll Do
