Job summary

Lithia & Driveway Tampa Honda is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform basic maintenance and adhere to dealer and factory standards. You will execute routine tasks such as oil and filter changes, inspect tires and brakes, and verify fluid levels while communicating repair recommendations to the service advisor.

We value a basic mechanical understanding, a valid driver's license, reliability, and teamwork. Experience with express/quick lubes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical concepts and the ability to diagnose simple vehicle issues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication with customers and the service team.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and filter replacements.
• Conduct complete maintenance inspections including tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
• Communicate repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

What You'll Do

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

What You'll Bring

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
