Lithia & Driveway (NYSE: LAD) presents an opportunity at L0839 Huntington Beach Hyundai in Huntington Beach, CA for a Lube Technician. The role pays $19-$20 per hour with open availability across days and shifts; schedule: Mon-Fri 7am–6pm, Sat 8am–4pm.

Join a large dealership group offering training, mentorship, and growth in a supportive team. You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and communicate recommendations to the service advisor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience with Hyundai, Kia or Genesis.
• Hyundai Certified is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor preventative maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements).
• Inspect vehicles and fluids; check brakes and tires.
• Communicate repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.

What You'll Do

• Perform minor preventative maintenance (changing engine oil and filters, tire rotations, engine/cabin air filter replacement).
• Perform and complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the assigned service advisor.

What You'll Bring

• 1+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience with Hyundai, Kia or Genesis.
• Hyundai Certified is preferred.
• Operate different car models, light trucks, and vans.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• A focus on accuracy, efficiency, and completing assigned tasks.
• A team player who is focused on providing outstanding customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards

The Hourly Pay Range for this position is $19 - $20. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
