Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking an Apprentice Lube Technician at our Wesley Chapel Hyundai location. You will perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tire services, while learning under the service team in a dealership setting.

You will complete inspections, assist technicians, and follow safety procedures as you gain hands-on automotive skills for growth within the service department.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive maintenance.
• Previous lube technician or quick lube experience preferred.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and check fluids, tires, brakes, belts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate identified maintenance needs to Service Advisors.
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
• Assist technicians and team members while developing automotive skills.

What You'll Do

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections, including checking tires, brakes, batteries, belts, and fluid levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate identified maintenance needs to Service Advisors and team leaders.
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
• Assist technicians and service team members as needed while developing automotive skills.

What You'll Bring

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
