Mike Savoie Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Lube Technician to join their team in the Metro Detroit area. The role focuses on performing oil changes, inspections, fluid top-offs, and basic mechanical tasks in a well-equipped shop.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Eagerness to improve and grow in the automotive field.
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year in a service department preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Replace oil and filter as well as complete proper multi-point vehicle inspection.
• Communicate any vehicle concerns to appropriate shop personnel.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on vehicles.
• Inspect for and document any worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
