Job summary

Suburban Mazda of Troy is hiring Lube Technicians. This fast-paced role involves oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and basic diagnostics. We value independent workers with clean driving records and a willingness to grow within Lithia & Driveway’s service network.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of automotive repair experience required or recent tech school grads.
• Ability to independently perform oil changes, tire rotations and brakes.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance inspections including tires, brakes and fluid levels.
• Communicate repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
• Assist with other duties within the Service Department.

What You'll Bring:

• 1-2 years of automotive repair experience
• Recent technical school graduates
• Ability to independently perform oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and basic diagnostics

• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

What You'll Do:

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison
• Assist in other duties as assigned within Service Department
