Job summary

Lithia Volkswagen of Reno is seeking a Lube Technician to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs following Lithia and manufacturer standards. You will diagnose issues, road-test vehicles, and document all work on repair orders to ensure quality service.

The ideal candidate has automotive knowledge and at least 1 year of lube technician experience, plus a valid driver's license. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for training and certification.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge and a clean driving record are required.
• 1+ years of lube technician experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and road-test vehicles after service.
• Record time spent on repairs and document test procedures/results.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean and ready for customer pickup.
• Complete training and pursue ASE certifications as required.

Dealership: L0034 Lithia Volkswagen of Reno Lithia Volkswagen of Reno Hiring: Lube Technician Pay: $18 Hourly Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of malfunction
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
• Accurately record time spent repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Complete all required training
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

What You’ll Bring

Automotive Knowledge, 1+ years Lube Technician Experience, 1+ years Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
