Job summary

The Russ Darrow Group is hiring a motivated Quick Lube Technician to join our fast-paced Service team in Madison, WI. You’ll perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance in our Express Lube Lane, ensuring services are accurate, safe, and efficient for every customer.

Qualifications

• Reasonable knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Experience as a technician helper, apprentice or dealership helpful.
• Recent graduates from vocational or tech school encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Performs multi-point inspection and reports needed repairs to Service Advisor.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems and perform fluid flushes.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment and provide time estimates.

The Russ Darrow Group is looking for a motivated and reliable Quick Lube Technician to join our fast-paced Service team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive dealership environment.As a Quick Lube Technician, you’ll perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance in our Express Lube Lane, ensuring each vehicle is serviced efficiently, accurately, and safely. You’ll work closely with our Service Advisors to deliver a smooth and positive experience for our customers.Starting pay: $19 per hourResponsibilitiesPerforms multi-point inspectionPerform thorough check of customer's car (i.e., battery, lights, and tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.Check the air pressure of tires; replace tires as neededPerform 4 wheel alignment on Hunter equipmentExecute fluid flushesOperate and maintain all lubrication equipmentProvide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairsContinuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology.About UsThe Darrow Difference is the foundation of our success – and we want you to be a part of it!Are you outgoing, enjoy meeting new people, and have a passion for the latest technology?
