Job summary

Russ Darrow Madison Mazda in Madison, WI is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to join our Service team. This full-time on-site position offers hands-on work, ongoing training, and a supportive dealership environment, with starting pay of $19 per hour.

You will perform multi-point inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and other lubrication tasks, while learning new techniques through formal training sessions.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Experience as a technician helper or apprentice is helpful.
• Recent grads from vocational or tech school are encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-point inspection.
• Checks vehicle conditions (battery, lights, tires) and refers needed repairs to Service Advisor.
• Diagnose and repair systems including oil changes, flushes, and tire rotations.
• Check tire air pressure and replace tires as needed.
• Perform 4-wheel alignment using Hunter equipment.
• Execute fluid flushes and operate lubrication equipment.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Continuously learn new techniques in formal training sessions.

Job Shift: Day

The Russ Darrow Group is looking for a motivated and reliable Quick Lube Technician to join our fast-paced Service team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive dealership environment.

Starting pay: $19 per hour

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-point inspection
• Perform thorough check of customer's car (i.e., battery, lights, and tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
• Check the air pressure of tires; replace tires as needed
• Perform 4 wheel alignment on Hunter equipment
• Execute fluid flushes
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology.
