Job summary

Island Honda in Kahului, HI, is seeking a Lube Technician to support dealership operations with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays. No experience required; hands-on training provided.

You will perform repair order tasks, diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles, document work and times, maintain tools and shop cleanliness, and pursue ASE certifications as needed. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth within Lithia Motors' Island Honda team.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older.
• Willing to acquire manufacturer and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform work as outlined on repair orders with accuracy.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work and document test procedures/results.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures and document work performed.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, stock and return tools as required.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs and participate in training.
• Ensure customers' vehicles are returned clean and ready for delivery.
